How to Install Keycaps

  • Unplug the Keyboard and Remove Old Keycaps: Before starting, unplug your keyboard or turn it off. Use the keycap puller to remove one keycap and test it for MX switch compatibility. Once confirmed, remove the rest of the keys.

  • Install the New Keycaps: Align the new keycaps with the switches and press them down until they snap into place, ensuring they sit flat and snug. You’ll hear a soft "click" when they're secure.

  • Test the Keys: Plug your keyboard back in or turn it on. Test each key to ensure it's responsive.

  • You’re Ready to Go!: Once all keycaps are installed and tested, you're good to go! Enjoy your customized keyboard and get back to gaming or typing.

Keycap Care

  • Cleaning: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth or a mild damp wipe to remove dust and fingerprints. Avoid using harsh chemicals.

  • Deep Clean: Remove keycaps and soak them in warm, soapy water for 15–20 minutes. Scrub with damp, soft rag. Let them dry completely before reinstalling.

  • Avoid Damage: Keep keycaps away from direct sunlight, extreme heat, and moisture to prevent fading, warping, or residue buildup.

  • Storage: Store keycaps in a cool, dry place when not in use to preserve quality.

Are your keycaps compatible with my keyboard?

Will the legends on the keycaps fade over time?

No. Our keycaps use dye-sublimated printing, meaning the legends are heat-infused into the plastic—not just printed on top. This ensures they stay crisp and vibrant, even after years of heavy use. You can check out our process here.

We ship from Utah, USA.

  • Premade Keycaps: 4-5 business days
  • Custom Keycaps: 5-15 business days

  • U.S. Orders: Shipping times depend on the USPS service you select at checkout. Orders over $100 get FREE shipping. Estimated delivery dates will be shown based on your selected shipping method.

Do you offer refunds or returns?

Custom-made products are final sale and not eligible for refunds or returns. However, pre-made keycaps and desk mats are eligible for refunds, returns, or exchanges if returned in brand-new condition. If there’s an issue with your order, please contact us, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
